Organized in 1961, the National Capital Area Branch (NCAB) is the local affiliate of the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS). NCAB AALAS is a major educational organization promoting improvements in the humane care and use of laboratory animals and the advancements of laboratory animal science. The NCAB serves the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.
