Enrichment is Key to Animal Welfare

Just like humans, animals need a chance to exercise their minds and have control over their environment. And like humans, lab animals also enjoy toys and treats! That's why environmental enrichment is key to animal welfare—minimizing boredom, stress and stereotypic behaviors such as pacing and rocking. It's as essential as proper nutrition to the well-being of the laboratory animals under your care.

Enrichment products offer animals experiences similar to those they encounter in the wild, such as the opportunity to nest, build, forage, explore and exercise. The result? Happier, healthier animals!

ASAP offers edible, non-edible and enhanced enrichment for all species. We will work closely with you to recommend the best solutions to create a stimulating, interesting environment for your animals that promotes natural behaviors. But we don’t just sell “off the shelf.” The products we offer are durable, safe and often customizable! In addition, we offer several exclusive products, including the Mayan Mouse House and I-Chews.
